Seaside vacation at the Novotel Resort
Each day at the Novotel Coralia Ocean Dunes and Golf Resort on the coast of Binh Thuan Province, an old Cham woman named Chau Thi Mang sits in a hut weaving tho cam (ethnic fabric) souvenirs for guests at the four-star resort.
Sitting amidst rolls of fiber and weaving tools, Mang industriously embroiders names of guests on tho cam from sunrise to sunset.
All guests need to do is tell Mang their names or the names they want to appear on the unique fabric of the Cham People. Since it takes a long time for her to finish the embroidery work, it is a good idea for guests to explore the resort's greenery or swim in the pools rather than wait at the hut.
The Novotel Ocean Dunes and Golf Resort is a haven for families. It offers a variety of land and water activities and sports for vacationers of all ages. Children are sure to enjoy the ball house, while adults can partake in tennis, volleyball, pentaque and water sports such as windsurfing. Parents and children can relax or read together on the deck chairs located beneath the shade of pine trees.
Avid golfers can test their skills at the nearby 18-hole Ocean Dunes Golf Course that commands spectacular views of ancient volcanic mountains and coastal plains. The course was created a dozen years ago by former Masters and British Open champion Nick Faldo over windswept dunes and near the warm waters of Central Vietnam.
Guests of the Novotel Ocean Dunes and Golf Resort can also bicycle for kilometers along picturesque sand dunes and other attractions including the ancient Cham towers, Fairy Stream, fishing villages and unspoiled beaches in the bay of Mui Ne.
