Twelve-day tour of northern Vietnam and Yunnan
Ben Thanh Tourist recently launched a 12-day tour taking tourists from
Ho Chi Minh city to northern
Vietnam and China.
The 12-day tour will take in
Hanoi, Quang Ninh,
Lao Cai in Vietnam and Yunnan Province in China. This route is especially popular because of the ease of traveling between the two countries.
From HCMC, guests will fly to the capital city of Hanoi where they will spend two days exploring the major tourist sites and Halong Bay. Stops include Hoan Kiem Lake, Van Mieu-Quoc Tu Giam (Temple of Literature), Ngoc Son Temple and Thien Cung, which is located 25 meters above sea level and considered to be a veritable museum for beautiful stalactites and stalagmites in Halong.
After traveling back to Hanoi from Halong, guests will take a night train from Hanoi to the border province of Lao Cai to immigrate into China.
The following six days will be spent exploring the beautiful landscapes of Yunnan Province. Travelers will observe day to day life of the Chinese in the city of Kunming, which is located in the center of the province. Next, travelers will visit Kuniming Stone Forest and the old town of Lijiang, which is a key commercial and strategic site.
After the tour of China, the group will travel back to Lao Cai Province, to explore the town of Sapa, which is located 1,600meters above sea level. The following morning, the tour take travelers to see major attractions including Ham Rong Mountain and Thac Bac (Silver Spring).
The tour is priced at VND15.9mil per person for groups of at least four people. Lower fares will commence with larger groups.
